TLC Store is a platform for celebrating the hand of the maker – works of our own, makers we admire, and rare pieces we have found. We share belongings for the body and the home, that are not only made, but, we hope also kept with tender love and care.

Washing with hands is the best way to care for your clothing and the environment, adopt a hand wash - hang dry approach where possible and for all delicates or pieces you hold close to your heart. We enjoy using the Sphaera Laundry Bar (sphaera.co.nz/product/laundry-bar).
Alternatively visit a local green dry cleaners and/or select the 'eco' and 'express' settings on your washing machine for garments that are able to be machine washed.
For Kangaroo Leather we recommend applying a neutral leather care balm every few months with a soft, lint free cloth before a light spray of water proofer. This will both nourish and protect the leather. Store in a shoe bag in your wardrobe
925 Silver will tarnish with time, we advise storing your jewellery in the bag or box they are packaged in and regular polishing with a polishing cloth or solution (contact local jewellers for suggestions)
Wooden pieces are easily cared for with a soft damp cloth and some olive/coconut oil from your kitchen cupboard.
